Bump Bump!
That’s my nick-name for Dancing With The Stars because of the first beats of the theme song. Yes, I’m a dork. Bite me.
I’m not really happy with the season– the Judges, specifically. I’ve not been happy with how they’ve been treating Lacey Schwimmer. It’s her first season and they have just been mean to her! Last week, I was fit to be tied. I love Lacey, y’all! She is one of my favorite dancers ever from So You Think You Can Dance. I (with Dianne) had decided to flex my Queen of the Internet muscle and write the show and bitch ‘em out. We were gonna start internet war on their ass.
Lucky for them, they were nice to her tonight. But f’real! Carrie Ann all up in Cloris’ grill about Toni going home last week and she got to stay? That’s crap. Cloris can’t help that people want to see her wander around the studio like a loony talking her crazy. That’s good TV! Those judges need to get their panties out of a wad and have some fun.
PS: When ever I hear Cloris’ name I think Deloris Clitoris. I just can’t help it. Then I get what us Cajuns call a frisson (pronounced free-sau) which means a “chill” brought on by sheer grossness. Really just a chill but you know what I mean.
Also, we’ve been watching some episodes of My Big Redneck Wedding which is causing Mike to have fits of stuttering rage. He’s taken to shaking me and asking “Why? Why? Why?!?!?!” amongst other things. He has a great blog he could write about it but he just can’t bring himself to do it. It made me laugh so hard tonight that I choked.
This weekend was a jamboree of shopping thanks to Linen N Things going out of business. I have now redecorated my bedroom and bathroom. I’m so happy I could just pee. I’ll have before and after photos when I’m done with it. It’s been all sorts of HGTV up in my house this weekend. Mike was so happy.
Also, my 9 month old niece has now taken to eating the cat food and cries when it’s taken away from her. She also had pizza and candy corn at her Halloween party. She loves food just like her Nanny! *tiny tear*
This week: Halloween, my mother’s birthday party and a full week of lots of work. Next weekend Mike’s parents will be here and the whole fam will be at my house for dinner. Party!
Here is another pic of Mike and I from our little photo shoot. We so cute. This was taken from the founding site of the city of Houston on Buffalo Bayou a few blocks from my office. It’s one of my favorite spots in the city. It’s one of the rare historical areas of town and you can see the city behind us.
Tomorrow, Mike and I are going vote before work. Everyone- please go out and vote. It’s your right and this is such a significant election in such a trying time. I won’t preach to you about who you should vote for and besides, I’m sure you have your mind made up already. Regardless, take advantage of the rights we have. We live in the greatest country in the world and though we might be floundering a bit right now, we’ll come back better than before. Be a part of it.

She also has a ton of nicknames for Transformers. Some include “Left cheek,” and the other big one is she imitates the sound that the transformers make while they are transforming.
(FYI She just called MySpace a “fucking turd of a shithead” because it wouldn’t post the link to this blog. And also “cum bubble.” Then she just whined at me. And she just said something that I can’t type here.)

It’s easy peasy. I started back on stupid Myspace in 2005 and haven’t shut up since. You do not need your own domain, but you can totally get one if you want. There are tons of free blogging programs. I use WordPress for mine. Just go to their site- you can host it with them and it’s free. You can choose themes or custom design whatever you choose.
Blogger is another free site. I’ve used it before and honestly I like wordpress the best.

I waited to read this until I watched the show, which I tried to do last night but passed out before Lacey even came on (yeah, I was TIRED!). But I was REALLY impressed by them last night and yes, the judges were much better to her (maybe lack of Len?). And first place for the night? Yay! But I’m all for startin’ up a net war for a ‘Be Nice to Lacey’ campaign if they start their crap again… :p
I can’t wait to see what y’all got for the bedroom! I can’t believe you got such great deals… I almost want to redecorate (again) because of it.
